Congregational Meeting Reminder February 10 at 7:30pm.
Our proposed budget for 2009 and financial statements for 2008 are in your mail box. Please be aware that Leadership Team is encouraging significant participation in this meeting since the budget includes an aggressive increase in revenue and expense largely due to the anticipated hiring of our Associate Pastor. Please join us for our annual budget meeting on Tuesday at 7:30pm.
Membership & Baptism - in preparation for our covenanting service in April, membership classes will be given in March. If you would like to explore membership or baptism at Avon, please contact Herb.

Kathy Gerber & Chris Murray are please to announce the safe arrival of their son, Benjamin Ling Gerber Murray, born Apr 26/07 in China. Lovingly united with his new family on Jan 12/09. Big sisters, Alex & Erin, are thrilled to welcome their brother home.
Randy Lebold is returning to Indonesia Feb 16 - Mar 9. Please pray for the preparation, travelling, training & relationship building involved with his trip. Continue to pray for Anita, Cameron, Hudson & Jadon at home. Your prayers, on their behalf, are effective in enabling them to have another wonderful trip in Indonesia and at home.

Hidden Acres Camp is hosting a “Family Day Retreat” Feb 16, 9:30am - 3:00pm. This is a fun-packed day including lunch and snacks. For details and cost, see the notice beside the Youth Room. Pre-registration is required.

Mennonite-Muslim Kit-packing Sessions - MCCO has been organizing monthly Mennonite-Muslim Friday night kit-packing sessions to help build understanding and awareness. Opportunities in the Community…
