Women of Avon will meet in Feb. 10 at 7 pm. Topic: Exercise at Home with Kathy Young, Personal Trainer and Pilates instructor. Sign-up sheet and more information are posted on the W of A bulletin board.
Prayers: Joys & Requests…
Please pray for Norm Nicolson who is struggling with mononucleosis; and for his overall health. He has suffered from dysentery and malaria in the past year. Pray that he will find adequate rest and strength to combat this disease.

Winter Carnival - February 6th - indoor/outdoor games start at 3:30, followed by our jello contest, a pizza supper and the movie, ‘Up’. Sign-up for pizza beside the youth room; Jello contest categories: best edible, most creative, and best kids creation

Volunteer Equipping Day at Avon on Saturday, February 27th, from 9am-4pm, featuring scripture reflection, teaching, roleplays, case studies, video clips and more, led by Betty Pries. Lunch and child-care for $5 per child are included. Please sign up on the bulletin board by the youth room.

The Missions Commission is encouraging Avon to respond to MCC’s request for material aid by collecting items for relief kits until Feb 14. Copies of the”Relief Kit Shopping List” are in your bulletin, extras below the mailboxes. Collection boxes will be available in the foyer. If you are interested in knotting a comforter, please contact Bernice (519-273-2955).
Shrove Tuesday is on Feb 16. Pancake supper will be served at 6pm followed by a worship and communion service at 7pm.
