Office Hours for Brenda, Avon’s Administrative Assistant, are changing to Monday, Wednesday and Thursday (9:00am to noon). Bulletin announcements must be submitted by Thursday at 9:00am.
This morning during Christian Ed LTeam invites you to participate in a review and visioning process in line with Pastor Herb’s contract renewal (slated for July 31, 2010). Herb and Lorrie will be present. Review questions for focus are available below the mailboxes.

Homemade Cards created by Ella Paul will be on sale after the Worship Service from now until Christmas. All proceeds will go to sending a child to school in El Salvador.
Avon will be accepting non-perishable food items for the House of Blessing during the weeks of Advent, Nov 29 - Dec 20. Please place items in the boxes by the servery.
Prayers: Joys & Requests…
Please pray for the Macau Mennonite Church, that is planning to move into a new location – a factory building in the same neighbourhood. Pray that the congregation will adjust well and even thrive with new missional energy in their new location.
Please contact the church office (519-273-2261) with prayer requests for the bulletin by Wednesday, 6:00 pm.
A Congregational Meeting will be held on Monday, December 14 at 7:30pm, where the congregation will have opportunity to discuss and reach agreement on a recommendation from Leadership Team regarding a term renewal for pastor Herb.

Ecumenical Service - December 27th at Central High School at 9:30am. Avon will join in this service and we will not have a service at 90 Greenwood. Our offering will still be collected; you may bring your envelopes. Cash offering will go to Meals on Wheels and Salvation Army.

Old Fashioned Christmas Concert. Nov 29, 7:00pm at St. John’s United Church. Proceeds will go to benefit children’s projects in the developing world.
A Multimedia Christmas, Dec 4 & 5, 7:30pm at Life Church International, Woodstock. Doors open at 7pm. Admission is a non-perishable food item for the Salvation Army Food Bank.
