Important update from Finance Committee
Budget for 2008 = $184,120
(including Regular Offerings + Bldg Fund)
Amount still needed = 20,817
We have 2 Sundays left to meet our budget. If we do not meet our income objectives, we may need to post a deficit to meet budgeted commitments. A copy of your giving record was placed in your mailbox last Sunday. Please prayerfully review your support for the work of Avon this year.
Greetings from the Library! Please check at home for any church library books, videos, tapes, or CD’s that you may have forgotten to return. It will help us reduce the amount of notices we will be sending out in the new year. Also, please take care to sign your name and the date on the library card when you are borrowing an item from the library (and help your children to do this also), then place it in the box provided. This way the previous borrower doesn’t get issued a notice for something they have already returned. Your help is much appreciated! Have a Blessed Christmas!”
YOUTH…As the search for an Associate continues, Chris Nisbet has agreed to continue facilitating the Wed. night youth program. Many thanks to Chris for her ongoing leadership. There will be no program on Dec. 24th, 31th. Please note: Any social events need to be coordinated by youth and parents of youth. Youth…if you are interested in attending or hosting a youth event over the holidays, please let Suzanne know and I can help you to organize.
You are invited to take part in a “card shower” for Wayne Baer who turns 80 on Dec. 30. It is something he might enjoy. Whoever would like to send him a card is welcome to place it in Erma Meadow’s mailbox.
Keeping you connected…
