L-Team Update. Avon has entered into an agreement with By Peaceful Waters Counselling services to use some of our C.Ed. rooms for counselling services one-two days each week. As a result, Avon participants who use the sharing fund will also receive a discount for counselling services.
L-team desires that the congregation know our intention to rest from aggressively pursuing new initiatives over the next few months. We will continue to seek God as we consider what things to invest our energy into but sense the congregation needs a break. We have intentionally added Mel and Marlene Lichty as Pastoral Care members partly to help while Herb is gone but also to pay even more attention to pastoral care issues in this season. The one exception to this will be solving the immediate concern related to youth ministry leadership. See our minutes for more details. Finally, remember to pray for Herb as he is away participating in Clinical Pastoral Education for the next three months. Pastoral concerns can be relayed to a PCC member and other questions may be raised with Brenda (during her regular office hours) or with L-Team members.
Ryan Erb - L-Team chair
