Welcome Cookies & Pies - to welcome those who have moved into the neighbourhood. Help by: praying, baking cookies or pies, or handing them out to our new neighbours. If you can help, please contact the office.
GIRLS ages 10-17 are invited to attend Girls’ Heart Point, a God-centred perspective on relationships, sexuality, eating ,worship, sports, fashion, and faith stories. This is an overnight stay from May 2 -3. See details beside the Youth Room. Let Marion Dow know if interested!

What to do with all those old shoes? Project “The Joy and Hope of Haiti” is sending new or used children’s and adults’ shoes to Haiti. A box has been placed in the foyer to collect any shoes you would like to donate.
Men’s Fellowship Breakfast. Meeting for breakfast at Arden Park, 8:30 am Saturday, April 12. Join us for a casual time of fellowship and a hardy breakfast. All men welcome. Invite a friend. Hope to see you there!
Any ladies age 13 and up who would be interested in playing baseball for Avon church please contact Kathy Martin at 519-272-2576. We only play Monday nights and only from May to end of August.

Visit Peru with Florence! On April 6th at 6:30pm Florence Riehl will be sharing slides & stories of her mission work in Peru (babysitting provided). Dessert to follow. Also, an update about the summer mission trip to Kentucky.
Prayers: Joys & Requests…
Please pray for Amanda & Gamaliel Falla, ministering in Colombia, and a group forming in Galapa that plans to establish a church. Pray that they may find an appropriate meeting place. Also in the city of Monteria, another Mennonite Church is forming. Pray for a leader for this new work.

Sara’s Place is hosting a ‘pot-blessed’ meal with concert featuring Ali Matthews on April 11th at Jubilee Christian Fellowship. Suggested donation: $25. See poster beside Youth Room for more details.
Challenge Days at Northwestern. A one-day youth mentoring opportunity for adult volunteers on Apr. 14, 15, or 16. This is part of a pilot project to decrease bullying in the schools.
