Missions Corner
Missionary Ventures “Threads of Hope”
October 5-15, 2007, a group of 12 or 13 persons are going on a mission trip to Peru, to teach impoverished and uneducated women to sew. This helps empower women with skills and tools to earn an income for their families. Our team will take sewing machines (teach them how to use them) and other supplies to use during our clinic days at two different destinations. I’m asking you to help support this ministry by your prayers and donation of money for supplies. A donation form was placed in your mailbox today. All monetary contributions over $10 are tax deductible. Donations can be given to me by September 12th and I will take them to Missionary Ventures and see that you are receipted. Please make cheques payable to Missionary Ventures Canada. Thanks for your support!
